3rd Ivorian night of the 7th art and audiovisual NISA 2022

This Tuesday, November 6, 2022, was held the 3rd Ivorian night of 7thart and audiovisual.
Under the aegis of Mr. Amadou Coulibaly, Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, and Mrs. Françoise Remarck, Minister of Culture and Francophonie, this ceremony exists thanks to theinitiative of Patricia Kalou, President of CPACI.
The ceremony demonstrated that Côte d’Ivoire is becoming one of the hubs in terms of artistic cinematographic creativity.
This night came to close in apotheosis, a ten days dedicated to the meetings.
Indeed, The NISA PRO, a major meeting of professionals of the Audiovisual with panels and meetings B to B was held at Latrille Events of Deux Plateaux, Monday, November 21 and recorded the participation of a good range of personalities from the world of Audiovisual, brands and partners of the NISA. A day during which discussions revolved around the issues of the Audiovisual in Côte d’Ivoire.
This night of December 6 was marked by the crowning of women screenwriters with the victory of Yolande Bogui, Anne Bakoro, Sonia Bain for CACAO; a big light on the emergence of female entrepreneurship in Côte d’Ivoire. Bravo ladies!
Another highlight was the victory of Mahoula Kane as best male performer for Martial Boadi’s film, “Double Face”; Mahoula spoke to us about the need to found an academy dedicated to actors in Côte d’Ivoire in a long and passionate speech.
Our favorite documentary 2022 “Je reste photographe” by Ananias Léki Dago won the prize for best documentary.
Philippe Lacôte and his film “Night of the Kings” confirmed their position as the leader of Ivorian cinema at the world level this year: Best Director for Philippe and Best Picture for Tobie Marier Robitaille.
The big winners of this ceremony are undoubtedly those of the film “Djagassa” by Hyacinthe Hounsou who won the awards of best director for a fiction, best actress for Ouattara Hadja, best revelation for Yohan Bado and the NISA d’OR 2022.
The NISA 2022 winner’s speech moved the audience as his coronation night capped a year full of personal challenges that did not weaken his faith in his art.
Congratulations to the jury consisting of Djira Yssouf (President of the Jury), Zékré Anicet (Director of Cinema) and our dear Madéka Timmerman (Producer and CEO of CINEKITA) for their relevant and representative deliberations of the success of the Ivorian cinema of the years 2021-2022 to the nominees and especially to all the winners of the Nisa 2022.
