CANEX 2022

The CANEX, a meeting of creative and cultural industries that brought together many actors in the sector of fashion, culture, dance, literature, cinema, theater, poetry and many others, ended on a happy note with a concert of several artists from Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, Morocco, the United States, Tanzania and Nigeria.
This concert hosted by the famous presenter Willy Dumbo opened with the performance of the rapper Suspect 95 who has ignited the convention hall of the Hotel Ivory with his titles such as “promise” and “it’s in TV”. After Suspect 95, the rapper Didi B thrilled the audience with his songs “Chérie coco” “Assinie” and “En haut”. South Africa was represented by the beautiful Nadia Nakai and the United States by Julian Marley, son of the mega star of reggae late Bob Marley. Dj Mohgreen proudly raised the flag of Morocco with a selection that made the audience dance.
One of the peaks of the CANEX was the presence of actor Idris Elba during a panel on the giants of the sector. Fashion shows from Gilles Touré to Lafalaise Dion among others allowed us to discover the talent of our African nationals. The closing concert of the Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX 2022) took place under the supervision of the Ivorian Minister of Culture and Francophonie, Françoise Remarck who danced a few steps. The CANEX 2022 was an important gathering of creators, potential investors, and creative industry leaders from diverse backgrounds to support and develop the creative industry in Africa.
